Thomas Greenwood grew up in western Massachusetts, deep in the secluded forests of the Berkshires, and graduated from Brown University in 2005. He worked for many years in architecture, getting licensed in New York, designing and rendering for Bill Sofield and Peter Marino. After a break of many years from making art, he has recently returned to painting with a renewed passion. His work draws from nature, blending realism with a deeper layer of abstraction.
